Pivot Shower Doors

One type of swinging shower door works on a pivot. Pivot doors have top and floor-mounted pivot points. A header is added across the top to support the pivot. They can open both to the inside and the outside. Pivot doors work well in both large and small spaces.

Hinged Doors

Another type of swinging door uses hinges. With hinged glass doors, the hinges anchor to a wall. The wall can be a bathroom wall or a glass wall panel. Hinged doors can open in both directions.
